Chairman and a founding Director of the UWI Development and Endowment Fund, The Honourable Dennis Lalor has been involved with the organization since its inception in 1990. He also founded and chairs the Insurance Company of The West Indies, a Caribbean insurance conglomerate.

AMProfessor McDonald was appointed as principal in 2013. He established the first Accident and Emergency Department in Jamaica at the UHWI in 1993 served as Head of the Department of Surgery, Radiology, Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the UHWI. Professor McDonald was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in 2005 and introduced the Doctor of Dental Surgery Programme to the Mona Campus in 2010.

EJMr. Jarrett is the General Manager of Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS), the largest mortgage company in Jamaica. Mr. Jarrett is instrumental in the expansion of JNBS into international markets and is also the Chairman of the Jamaica Cancer Society.

dr marshall hallHon. Dr. Hall is a Director of the Jamaica Producers Group and Chairman of the Campus Council of the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. Dr Marshall Hall was a Professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the UWI, Mona where he also served as Dean from 1973-1974.

Carla SeagaMrs. Seaga comes to the post with a wealth of experience in designing and managing social and developmental projects. Her prior assignments include Chairman and Executive Director of the University College of the Caribbean Foundation. She was also Chairman of the Devon House Board and Social Support Foundation, of which she was also the founder.

Mrs. Seaga studied at the Florida Atlantic University where she attained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with honours and the American University where she graduated with a Masters in Public Administration. Mrs. Seaga is married to former Prime Minister, Edward Seaga and has a daughter Gabrielle.
